Que Te llevo al arte?
Desde niña, siempre me destaque
en el dibujo, realizaba caricaturas para mis compañeras de colegio, nunca pensé
seguir el arte como carrera de vida, también me gustaba el deporte, así como
las matemáticas, me destacaba en esas tres disciplina, en mi último año de
colegio gané un concurso de pintura y esto me impulsó a estudiar arte, aunque
no tuve la aprobación de mis padres, de ese modo simultáneamente estudie
también la carrera de Contador Público Autorizado.
Que ha significado dedicarte a las Artes Plásticas?
Siempre fui muy polifacética, disfrutaba hacer de todo, desde ser
instructora de aeróbicos, trabajar en finanzas o recursos humanos, pero dedicarme al arte fue encontrar mi mundo real
– fantástico, mi espacio. Es donde puedo expresar todo mi sentir, desde lo más
poético, me encanta el color y su magia que no termina, crear algo diferente y
tener la valentía de mostrarla a un público.
Que le gustaría dar a conocer de Ud. y de su obra?
Una obra de arte es poesía,
siempre me gusta ver lugares exóticos, en todo nuestro entorno, ver los
paisajes y buscar belleza donde tal vez mucha gente no la encuentran, a través de mi obra quiero mostrar
las bellezas de la vida y lugares donde vivimos.
Que elementos dentro de su obra buscan activar procesos reflexivos?
En mis obras lo que predomina es
el color, generalmente son colores brillantes, que con un simple mirar te
llenan de Alegría y le dan un calor al espacio donde se encuentre, los
elementos presentes en mi obra son flores, paisajes, niños… Son temas que muestran a nuestro planeta tal
cual es… “Hermoso” y que debemos cuidarla, darnos un espacio para
reencontrarnos con la naturaleza y nuestra familia, dejar de lado las cosas
materiales, disfrutar por un momento de esos maravillosos instantes, como
cuando no existía la tecnología que hoy en día nos consume inconscientemente y
nos priva de esa libertad.
Que rol debe cumplir el espectador frente a su obra?
Todos los espectadores son
distintos, poseen diferentes formas de pensar, diferentes gustos, pero lo bello
es poder mostrar a todo el publico un pedacito de mi y que ellos a partir de
allí den su punto de vista, no importa si es positivo o negativo, eso jamás
debe importar a un artista.
Cuál cree usted es el rol del artista frente a la sociedad?
El rol que tenemos los artistas
es inquietar a la Sociedad, con temas de reflexión, los artista podemos crear o
ver el futuro de alguna manera, el mundo ya anda de cabeza, nosotros como
artistas con nuestra sensibilidad podemos llegar a mucha gente.
Consideras que el arte puede impulsar transformaciones?
Si, definitivamente, a través del arte podemos
llegar a mucha gente a nivel mundial, mediante las redes sociales, por eso
debemos ser cuidadosos con lo que expresamos, Dios nos obsequió un don, nuestra
responsabilidad es pintar para Él con agradecimiento.
Qué edad tienen su obra más antigua? Y alguna vez ha hecho intervención
o restauración de su propia obra o de algún otro autor?
Mi obra más antigua la realice en
1999 con la cual gané una mención, de esa misma obra, después de estudiar arte
un tiempo, quise mejorar y le di unos retoques con espátula.

What took you to art?
Since I was a girl, I always excelled in
drawing, I made cartoons for my schoolmates, I never thought to follow art as a
career, I also liked sports, as well as mathematics, I excelled in those three
disciplines, in my last year At school I won a painting contest and this
prompted me to study art, although I did not have the approval of my parents,
so I simultaneously studied also the career of Certified Public Accountant
What has it meant for you to dedicate yourself to the Plastic Arts?
I was always very versatile, I enjoyed doing
everything, from being an aerobics instructor, to working in finances or human
resources, but to dedicate myself to art was to find my real world - fantastic,
my space. It is where I can express all my feelings, from the most poetic, I
love the color and its magic that does not end, create something different and
have the courage to show it to an audience.
What would you like to
make known about you and your work?
A work of art is poetry, I always like to see
exotic places, in all our surroundings, see the landscapes and look for beauty
where maybe many people do not find it, through my work I want to show the
beauties of life and places where we live.
What elements in your
work seek to activate reflective processes?
In my works what predominates is the color,
they are generally bright colors, that with a simple look they fill you with
joy and they give a warmth to the space where you are, the elements present in
my work are flowers, landscapes, children ... They are themes that show our
planet as it is ... "Beautiful" and that we must take care of it,
give us a space to reencounter with nature and our family, put aside material
things, enjoy for a moment those wonderful moments, as when there was no
technology that today consumes us unconsciously and deprives us of that
freedom.
What role should the
spectator fulfill in front of his work?
All the spectators are different, they have
different ways of thinking, different tastes, but the beauty is being able to
show the whole audience a bit of me and that they from there give their point
of view, it does not matter if it is positive or negative, that should never
matter to an artist.
What do you think is
the role of the artist in front of society?
The role that artists have is to upset the
Society, with themes of reflection, the artists can create or see the future in
some way, the world is already on its head, we as artists with our sensibility
can reach many people.
Do you think that art
can drive transformations?
Yes, definitely, through art we can reach many
people worldwide, through social networks, so we must be careful with what we
express, God gave us a gift, our responsibility is to paint for Him with
gratitude.
How old are your
oldest works? And have you ever done intervention or restoration of your own
work or of another author?
My oldest work was made in 1999 with which I
won a mention, of that same work, after studying art for a while, I wanted to
improve and I gave it some touch-ups with a spatula.
